About Top Test Prep

Founded by Ross Blankenship while he was an undergraduate at Cornell University, Top Test Prep has expanded its private tutoring and admissions consulting to many cities, towns, high schools and colleges across America. After graduating from Washington University School of Law, where he received his J.D., Ross decided to pursue his academic dream of helping others get into top schools. Together, with his brother, Mike Blankenship, they have assembled teams of Ivy-trained admissions consultants and private tutors from across America, including Harvard, Yale, Stanford, Berkeley, MIT, Georgetown, Brown, Penn and Cornell.

Now the idea has everyone buzzing in the academic community because no other company combines elite private tutoring with personalized admissions consulting. No other tutoring and test prep company also has all of its tutors in the Top 1% for every exam they’ve taken. We’re proud to be the best.
