Alex’s review of Top Test Prep’s experts

Alex’s mother had already gone through the admissions process with an older son, but she reached out to Top Test Prep to help guide Alex’s college applications. “A good education can help him in the future. He has a lot of potential,” she realized. But she didn’t want to do it alone. She did some research. “I found Top Test Prep was the best for my son.”

She brought Alex in for a visit with private college admissions counselors at Top Test Prep.

At first, he wasn’t sure he was on board. “I thought Top Test Prep would be like any other organization,” he shared, “But then I met [my admissions expert].” They signed up for an admissions counseling program to help Alex gain admission to his top schools.

How did the college admissions counseling work?

Alex worked with his admission expert to find a voice of his own. “At the beginning, we set up many high goals,” his mom shared. Alex’s private counselor helped him shape his personal statement and admissions essays, guided him through college interview questions, and provided continual encouragement.

“They would give me detailed instructions on what they wanted next,” said Alex. “I could talk to [my admissions counselor] about anything, and that’s what you really want when you’re writing your personal essays…he really found a unique side of me.”

Where did you get into college, and what results did you have with Top Test Prep’s experts?

Because he worked with Top Test Prep’s expert admissions counselors, Alex was accepted to Carnegie Mellon, the University of Virginia, and other top 20 colleges.
