Amary graduated from Harvard College with high honors in English and American Literature and Language. She has received prizes from the Harvard English Department for her short stories and was accepted to write a creative thesis in her senior year. A graduate of The Lawrenceville School, she scored in the top 1% for SAT, with a perfect score in Verbal. She spent this summer biking from Boston, MA to Santa Barbara, CA in order to raise money for affordable housing projects through a non-profit called Bike & Build. Last summer, Amary worked as an editorial intern at The Paris Review in New York City. A newcomer to DC, she’s excited about exploring the city and finding a rhythm in a new place.

Mark D' Agostino, M.D., MS, MSc is a Marshall Scholar, a tutor and admissions advisor to Top Test Prep. Mark received his Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) at the Alpert Medical School of Brown University, where he was awarded a full-tuition scholarship. Before medical school he was one of forty American students awarded a 2003 Marshall Scholarship. In Great Britain he earned a Master of Science (MS) in Biochemistry at the University of Nottingham Medical School, and a second Masters degree (MSc) in Health Policy, Planning and Financing from the London School of Economics. During medical school Dr. D'Agostino conducted research at Brown and the Columbia University College of Physicians & Surgeons.
Yukai Li

Yukai grew up in China, the United Kingdom, and Canada, and graduated from Princeton University magna cum laude in Chemistry with a side-line in classical Greek. He scored in the top 0.3% in the MCAT and received perfect scores in each section of the SAT and SAT II's. After a year spent doing synthetic organic chemistry in the pharmaceutical industry, Yukai is exploring an interest in Greek and Latin literature at the University of Pennsylvania while applying to medical school. He can sometimes be found in the viola section of the university orchestra. Yukai will be tutoring for Top Test Prep in the Philadelphia area.
Sam M.

Sam grew up in Massachusetts and graduated from Yale with a B.A. in Economics with a focus on climate change and natural resource economics. He also studied Chinese in college and speaks Mandarin fluently. He has completed four semesters of language study at Princeton in Beijing, and he lived in Yunnan and Beijing, China for more than eight months. He is now an intern at the Department of the Treasury. In high school, Sam was a National Merit Finalist and scored in the top 1% on the SAT and several SAT II's, including a perfect score on the SAT verbal section. In addition to tutoring for Top Test Prep, Sam also enjoys backpacking, classical and jazz piano, choral singing, and urban exploration and photography.

Martin Bernstein scored in the top percentile for the SAT, and graduated from Dartmouth College. At Dartmouth, he was a 4 year midfielder on the Varsity Lacrosse team. In addition, he was Vice President of his fraternity, the President of a Senior Honor Society, a member of the Student Athlete Advisory Committee, and a Special Olympics volunteer. He grew up in Washington, DC where he attended St. Albans School from 4th grade through high school. This summer, he traveled in Africa and Europe, climbing both Mt. Kilimanjaro in Tanzania and the Grand Teton in Wyoming.

Nic was honored for being the only student in Nebraska who received a perfect 36 on the ACT Exam. Nic currently is a senior at Washington University, majoring in molecular biology and biochemistry with a minor in philosophy-neuroscience-psychology. He has earned a 3.98 GPA and recently scored a 1510 on the GRE general test. Prior to joining the Top Test Prep team, he was a teaching assistant for an undergraduate biology course and participated in the Each One Teach One tutoring program at Washington University. He graduated from Millard North high school in Omaha, Nebraska in 2006, scoring a 36 on the ACT and a 2350 on the SAT.

Matthew is a native of Piedmont, California and graduated from Harvard, having scored in the top 1% for several exams including the SAT. In addition to his concentration he completed significant additional coursework in Government, Environmental Science and Public Policy, Spanish, and Portuguese. He has lived or traveled in 15 countries including Japan, Laos, Cuba, Nicaragua, Guatemala, and Brazil, working primarily in the not-for-profit environmental sector. While he isn't helping students prepare for college admissions tests he can be found at the Oakland estuary coaching high school rowing, bending himself into ashtanga yoga poses, hiking in the California redwoods, or tending to his garden.

During high school, he scored a perfect 36 on the ACT and was a National Merit Scholarship finalist. Brent then attended college at the University of California, Berkeley, where he majored in Molecular and Cell Biology. After college Brent spent three productive years doing research in a cancer biology laboratory. His work there resulted in three patents for potential cancer treatments. Brent's recent standardized test scores include an 800 on the GRE Math section last year and a 99th percentile LSAT score this past June. Currently Brent is pursuing a Master of Science degree in Biotechnology at Johns Hopkins University. Outside of school and work, Brent tries to find time to enjoy his many hobbies, which include photography, long-distance cycling, and automotive repair.

Christina graduated from Brown University, where she concentrated in History with a focus on Latin American society and politics. Outside of the classroom, Christina volunteered at an after-school program for elementary school children in downtown Providence, organized cultural events at the French House, and worked as a research assistant in the History Department. Christina graduated from Kent Place School, and received a 2340 on the SAT. She was also an AP Scholar and National Merit Scholarship Commended Student. She now writes about US foreign policy in Latin America, while tutoring for Top Test Prep. Christina spends her free time baking, watching The Office, and exploring DC.

Gilad graduated magna cum laude from Columbia University. A native of Westfield, New Jersey, he scored a 2380 on the SAT and a 5 on four AP exams. While a student at Westfield’s wonderful public high school, Gilad won the National Council of Teachers of English Achievement Award in Writing and came in first place in the National French Exam.

Gina grew up in Anchorage, Alaska and received a 2300 on the SAT, was a National Merit Semifinalist as well as a Presidential Scholars nominee. In 2008 Gina graduated cum laude from Amherst College with degrees in mathematics and political science. Gina also worked as a mathematics tutor and teaching assistant for Amherst’s math department, and was a private tutor for several families in the community, including that of Amherst College President Anthony Marx. This past year Gina worked as a full-time English teacher at Bilkent University in Turkey. She also used the time as an opportunity to travel to Turkey, Egypt and Georgia. Since coming back to the United States, Gina has scored in the top percentile for the GRE, while tutoring for Top Test Prep.

Corbin attended Yale University and received her MBA from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania. At Wharton, Corbin was a full-time graduate assistant in the Admissions Office.
